manufacturing of pelletizing plates

We manufacture and repair all types of pelletizing plates exactly according to our customers´ requirements, for all granulating extruders in use, from highquality chromium-nickel and/or high-strength steels.

Our pelletizing plates are designed for the production of PP, LDPE, HDPE,
LLDPE and many other products. The cutting surface ares is equipped with
tiles, nibs (cylinders) or segments made of titanium carbide (TiC) or tungsten carbide (WC).

The advantages of titanium carbide (TiC) are:

lower thermal conductivity
thermal expansion coefficient similar to that of the steel body
higher corrosion resistance
steam heated up to 60 bar or oil heated up to 330°C
product pressures up to 300 bar
number of holes from 200 to 4.000 holes possible, exactly according to the specifications of our customers
one-piece heat channel or heat exchange design

Reconditioning of pelletizing plates

In general we are able to renew the cutting surface area of all used pelletizing plate types which are in operation worldwide.

Depending on the condition of the pellet plate this procedure is possible up to 6-8 times.
